And if you take a precious stone and you cut a very thin slice and shine pure light through it, one of two things will happen. It will lose all of its colour and look like a piece of coal or, it will change from its present colour, red, blue or green, into all the colours of the rainbow and the most fabulous patterns you have every seen. The scientific term for those that lose everything is ‘isotropic’ and the scientific that gave ALL the colours and wonderful patterns is ‘anisotropic’. There are 12 stones which will be used as the material for the New Jerusalem and everyone of them is anistropic. Now some of you ladies are going to be disappointed here – diamonds are isotropic. Don’t take them with you to glory – they have no colour, no brilliance. Rubies – my wife will have to leave her ruby brooch behind because it has no colour in pure light. Garnets – no colour, but look at these

I just thought of something from the Holy Bible…
If people stay silent and refuse to give God the glory He deserves, the very stones will cry out. [my paraphrase] (Luke 19:40).
The stones in Revelation 21:19,20 certainly do cry out God’s glory, and true science has revealed this to us in these End Times, at a time when Christians are keeping the Message of Jesus Christ to themselves.

This reason just adds to the hundreds of reasons why I already believe the God of the Holy Bible is the true God and Creator of the universe, and that the Holy Bible is inspired and given to us by God.
Fascinating information… Thank you, for uploading.

@kipthecourtjester So god created him self when he created light?
God is nothing you can see hear or touch. God is not the building blocks. He’s the builder. You cant even begin to understand or conceive God who is infinite. God is not light, rather light is a form of energy easily relatable to God by its properties.

I think If you search the scriptures you will find that a lot of things on earth are a type of for what is in heaven such as the earthly tabernacle is a representation of the heavenly so what is in creation reflects the work of the creator so we have no excuse so its not bad to find that the gems of earth do this, it just shows that they are a representation of the heavenly.

God is Light. Light is particles. Eistein turned the world upside down with that theory, which, in turn, man figured out how to purify it. Wulfinthe snow, I understand your comment, however…acts 17, Paul on Mars Hill, one of the most fascinating passages of theology in the New…shows us, that God holds everything together, and is IN everything. God is Light. This is an amazing passage in Rev. 21, but it’s just one of many. What about the Psalms, when David spoke of the Condensation process?

To 1260days
My brother I have same belief with you before knowing the scriptures by comments of pastors and leaders of assembly, I suggest you try removing first the system of your Religion, and let alone the scripture speak up.
if you believe God can do all things, you won’t replace his words literally to spiritual.
Instead you will find awe knowing God will do what pleases Him. The stones will find impossible for us to experienced but God knows what He is saying.Trust Him on that.
Shalom!

What is elemental? Define that and the scripture you are referring to please.

Stay focused on the things of God, His righteousness, His will ect… Do not get sucked into a teaching that is “elemental”. The things of this world are of this world, the things of God are from above and are spirit.

Old covenant = literal
New covenant = spiritual
Do not be deceived!
Follow Christ and seek the place where He is… at the right hand of the Father.

The stones are representative of people. God’s house will be built with people, not elemental things, gold gems ect… All things are now spiritual. The old Covenant is literal, the New is spiritual.
The building materials of the new Jerusalem will be built with people who have been purified by the test of fire. (this life). Amen God dwells in us as we repent and turn to Christ and walk in him!

….. and it is equally true to say, many people desperately hope that the Bible is not the truth
To one, the Bible is the smell of death; to another, it is the fragrance of life (to paraphrase Paul in 2 Cor. 2)…
Another good verse: Acts 26:14

Pure light!
If you have a class of water, and you pour half of it away, is the remainig water purer?
If you filtrate part of the light away, is the remaining light purer?
Come on. There is no dirt in the light! You can not purify it.

For some people it is important, that the bible is infallible.
Normal person finds the biblical picture of the world false. To the most of us it is not a problem.
Some individuals are desperately trying to interpret bible so, that it actually describes the world as it is in reality, because otherwice the bible would be incorrect.
But the bible is incorrect anyway in many other points too.
There are a lot of contradictions in bible. Two different versions can not be true at the same time.

Well….. that’s highly speculative, and there are many strong academic refutations of the point you make (and many similar ones) to be found online….
WulfInTheSnow says:

Yes. In bible there are no exact descriptions of the universe.
But in many places there are hints that biblewriters share the same picture of the world, that historians have found to be common in middle east at the time of old testament. That is flat discus.
For instance in Isaiah 40:22 the earth is called a discus-like circle (chug ha-aretz = circle of the earth) instead of ball-like globe (dur = ball).
