    Don’t dry assembly, always oil.

  2. Bamchucknorris says:

Did you lube it before assembley?

    newbie… go to rebuilt a zmz – 41 engine… v8 195hp 60kg torque…

  4. superlausitz says:

    Thanks! Dnepr MT10.

  5. TroyaE117 says:

That’s a neat Dnepr in the background.
    Is it an MT11?

  6. superlausitz says:

Yes. Centre pin, make sure clip grooves are visible.

  7. superlausitz says:

Piston and pin are colour coded. If you can’t read the colour dots, they might not match. Or the pin grew in size, can happen after few thousand km (does not shrink back to original size). Better use reamer. Should not be press fit. Also need to be able to position pin for clips.

  8. TroyaE117 says:

On mine, I had to freeze the pin and heat the piston.
    Don’t forget the circlips.

  9. abgeschweift says:

Ok. :-) Will they also be secured with pisont pin clips?

  10. superlausitz says:

ja, ‘stramm’ is a good description. Not as easy as ‘bequem von Hand reindruecken’.

Sitzen die so stramm da drin, dass man ein Werkzeug braucht? Bei meiner alten Suzuki kann ich die eingeölten Kolbenbolzen bequem von Hand reindrücken.
